About Cedar Creek Company
Cedar Creek Company (CCC) is now part of Marel.
Prior to being acquired by Marel in 2019, CCC was the largest privately-owned Australian supplier in the meat processing and perishable food sector, with a significant market share of installed systems and equipment in Australia and New Zealand.
CCC commenced operations as a software provider in 1999. Co-founded by Lynne Lambert and Tony Abbott, CCC’s first product solutions focused on providing inventory management systems for Australian Meat Holdings (now part of JBS). In 2008 CCC acquired rival industry-provider SASTEK. The acquisition allowed CCC to diversify further. Lynne Lambert became the sole owner and director of CCC in 2010.
CCC wil continue to run its Head Office from Brisbane, Australia with another office in Auckland, New Zealand. Currently, there are about 20 permanent staff and several specialist contractors. However, contract staff are routinely employed to manage work flow peaks and provide specialist expertise for new developments.
The group has strong working relationships with key industry and government bodies including Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), AMIC, Agriculture Victoria and the Sheep CRC.
Marel is the leading global provider of advanced processing systems and service to the Poultry, Meat and Fish industries.
